Trident 3PL Referral Program
• We pay for referrals. Help a company find better warehousing and fulfillment.
Payout: 10% of inbound fees plus 10% of the first month’s storage rent on a successful referral.
Who qualifies as a referral
• A new client you introduce that is not already in our pipeline.
• They sign our Service Agreement and complete onboarding.
• First invoice is paid. That is a successful referral.
What “10%” covers
• Inbound fees: receiving, check‑in, palletization, labeling, and related project charges on the initial inbound.
• First month’s rent: pallet/bin/shelf storage for month one after go‑live.
• Excludes: pass‑through freight, carrier charges, parcel postage, and taxes.
When you get paid
• We pay within 15 business days after the client’s first payment clears.
• Paid by ACH or check. W‑9 required for totals over $600 per year.
Example
• Initial inbound project: $4,000
• First month storage: $2,500
• Your payout: 10% of $4,000 ($400) + 10% of $2,500 ($250) = $650
Simple rules
• One referrer per client. If two people refer, we pay the first documented introduction.
• No cap on the number of referrals.
• Valid for new Clients only.
• Referrals must fit Trident 3PL service scope and safety limits. Trident 3PL may decline prospects that are not an operational fit.
• If the client receives credits or adjustments on the first invoice, the payout is based on net Inbound Fees and net First Month’s Storage Rent after those adjustments.
• If the referred client cancels before completing the first full month of storage, only the Inbound Fees portion is eligible for payout.
Taxes and Compliance
• Trident 3PL may require a completed IRS Form W-9 prior to payment.
• If cumulative payments to a referrer reach $600 in a calendar year, Trident 3PL will issue a Form 1099-NEC.
• If a valid W-9 is not provided or the IRS notifies of TIN mismatch, Trident 3PL will apply backup withholding as required by law.
• Referrers are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on referral income.
Conflicts, Ethics, and Conduct
• Referrers must only use lawful, non-deceptive methods to identify and introduce prospects.
• No spam, misrepresentation, or unauthorized use of confidential information.
• Referrers shall disclose any ownership or agency relationship with the prospect at the time of referral.
• Trident 3PL may disqualify referrals obtained through unethical or prohibited conduct.
Data Privacy
• Trident 3PL will handle personal data in line with applicable privacy laws.
• W-9 and payment data will be stored securely with restricted access.

• Sales and Finance will maintain referral logs, eligibility decisions, payout calculations, and tax forms.
• Records are retained per Trident 3PL retention schedules.
